I was raised in a traditional denominational church home. Although I attended church regularly, I had never heard the revelation that Jesus was coming back again. I was astounded at such an idea. As time went by, and as I became surrounded with good Bible teachers, I came to the realization that that concept was in the Bible all along. I had just never seen it or heard about it. I have come to realize that there is a lot in the Word of God that we don't know about or understand. You go from line upon line and precept upon precept. Always some new revelation in the Bible as the Holy Spirit unfolds truths to our heart as we study and read the Word of God.

My thoughts were "Well if Jesus did indeed come back, it wouldn't happen until around the year 3000 AD anyway, so it wouldn't affect me." Not too long after, I heard the Lord say to me in a loud and very convincing tone "I am coming back sooner than you think!" Wow. That statement sure upended my theology that I had up until that time. Could that really be? So I then had to search the Scriptures, particularly the New Testament, and rethink my time line I had estimated for the return of the Lord.

After pondering my experience for a couple of years, I came up with a new time line regarding the return of the Lord to be about 2300 AD. I stayed with that thought for awhile and then again I heard the Lord with a loud, convincing voice say to me "I am coming back sooner than you think!" Wow again. This was the second time I heard the same thing, so I had to move my time line even closer still.

Again the same experience happened a third time. For the third time, I heard the voice of the Lord say "I am coming back sooner than you think!" By then I had moved my time line very close for the return of the Lord.

The point of all this is that Jesus is coming soon and you will need to answer for yourself: Are you ready? Are you really ready? Are you as ready as you can be? Are you being obedient to His will and calling on your life? In the final analysis that is what matters most.

2016 is the year of yearning. Yearning to be free. Yearning to be free from sorrow, suffering and pain. The enemy of your soul has desired to keep you in his stronghold and eventually destroy you.

But I say, says the Lord, come up higher in your walk with Me. Search for Me on higher ground as you walk with Me thru life's journey. As you search for Me as never before in My Word, you will find strength for your soul, peace for your mind, and harmony for your home. For without Me, life is full of sorrow and despair, but with Me all things are possible thru prayer.

Go in peace and be whole for I have overcome the world. Do not fear what the enemy has planned, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

So go rejoice and be glad for your name is written in the Book of the Lamb. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for the time is short in My great plan. Hallelujah!

In the late Fall of 2015 I was pondering in my heart about our country. I had just seen on TV a Presidential Debate. I walked across the room and sat down in my comfy chair and just opened my Bible. My eyes fell upon these Words from the Holy Scriptures "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land . . . " Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV)

I recently thought that most of us have heard about the pearly gates in heaven. Pearly gates need a wall. The Bible even gives us great details about the heavenly walls. God likes walls and has some of His own.

I have thought much about that Scripture the Lord gave me that evening. God cares about our land and He wants to protect us.
